Bella Grace

Today is July 17, 2010 and it’s been 25 days since we have launched the fund raising project for Bella Surgery Fund.

And guess what?! I never thought of seeing a lot of people respond to my baby’s needs in so many ways. We received help as form of donations that ranged from $1 to $40, viral campaign for blogging for a cause fund raisers, review purchases, support to win online contest and most specially prayers! Thank you very much to all of you!!

And now for the praise report, Bella’s Surgery Fund has already reached half of its goal. As of today, we already have $531! Thank you God!! And to be more ecstatic, there are still pending blog reviews I haven’t done because of the lost of my PR3 blog (so probably if those who purchase don’t mind, I will put their reviews on any of my PR2 blogs with their own domains or at the other PR2 blogspot blog). But when the blog reviews will be done, we might be close to our goal and have Bella Grace operated for her hernia surgery by the end of August before her First Birthday on September! Isn’t that great?!

Anyway, I hope you will still continue to pray with us. This journey is not limited to financial shortages but also prayer for more strength and fast healing since after surgery is another battle! So please, keep us in your prayers especially for Bella.

The following photo is to make clear what hernia not only in theory but in real physical manifestation. This picture is for medical purposes only and not should be taken otherwise.

I took this photo when my baby cried so hard. The bump reached almost an inch from the fold of her legs. These are her intestines protruding out from the normal place it should be. If surgery is not performed, these intestines will be strangulated and will lose blood supply thus causing death among the tissues and will eventually cause pain and abnormalities to my baby. Surgery is needed to as prevention for more complicated physical problems.

You might be wondering why there is a Fund Raising Thermometer on the left side of my blog. Well, my mommy placed it there because she is trying to raise funds for my surgery. You see, my mommy and papa were told by the doctor that I have hernia. The doctor said that hernia is the reason why a bump is felt in my left leg near my pe-pe when I cry. The bump sometimes reaches an inch high when I cry so hard.

Since my parents are not rich, they are trying to save money for my surgery fund and do fund raising projects as well. Good thing my Godmomma Pehpot volunteered to manage a fund raising project on my behalf. She helps promote a blog review services that will be done by my mommy for only $10. By the way, my mommy is not only doing blog reviews. She is quite smart actually. She can setup WordPress blogs, upload themes, edit your CSS problems, and offer you blog hosting services and many more. She is willing to do anything just to make sure I have my surgery soon.
